Townsend artists painting presidents in miniature for museum exhibit

Wes and Rachelle Siegrist of Townsend have been commissioned to continue a series of miniature portraits of U.S. presidents that was begun in 1914. The portraits are on exhibit at the Woolaroc Museum in Bartlesville, Okla.

This miniature portrait of President Barack Obama was created by Wes and Rachelle Siegrist of Townsend. It measures 3 1/8 x 2 3/8 inches.

Wes and Rachelle Siegrist at the NatureWorks Art Show in Tulsa, Okla., earlier this month with their miniature paintings.

Wes and Rachelle Siegrist, painters who live in Townsend, say they will forever be pulling for a one-term president.
